by Men of Iron for the military purposes are wardroids. Ghosts of Retribution met them for the first time in 325.M41, when Wrath invaded their homeworld of Mormark. Unlike most of other enemies space marines meet on the field of battle, even the most basic wardroids can wound or even kill Astartes, as their weapons and armour are from the peak of Dark Age of Technology. However despite their terrifying firepower, programmed devotion and incredible endurance, they still are just complex machines and require guidance. At least during one occasion, during Operation Ice Spear, when task force commander Iron Man Proteus 34 was taken out, his minions simply fell back to their pre-programmed basic routines.
