- Description: Vectes was once the crown jewel in Subsector Ionium, the most heavily populated world and primely located among the subsector's warp lanes. Growing rich upon trade and vast numbers of mineral-rich asteroids, Vectes was a vital source of resources for the forge world of Agrotus and surrounding subsector. Tainted by the words of Jeshua Hanozri in 289.M41, Vectes began producing astonishing numbers of Partisan-Class Raiders. Subjected to Exterminatus in the waning days of 293.M41 by the forces of Third Ionian Crusade, the system saw continued fighting until as late as 313.M41 as Imperial forces hunted down hundreds, if not thousands, of asteroid bases and even shipyards. Serial Numbers suggest that Vectes managed to produce nearly 80 Partisan-Class Raiders, though war records only account for the capture or destruction of 33. It is a matter of fierce debate how such production numbers would be possible in only four years, with many suggesting that the utilitarian ships were produced long before 289.M41.
