Background[]
In the 150s.M41 Kadestos Belisarius - third nephew of the last Belisarian Sector Governor Hergon - faked the deaths of himself and his family in a shuttle explosion above the world of Solstreim to avoid the constant assassination attempts by the Ursus Dynasty. Though the once rich Nobles were forced into a life of hive poverty they were safe from the Ursuses.
By 346.M41 the last remaining members of the family were Gration and his twin sister Donata Belisarius.
Recent History[]
In 352.M41 Gration and his sister Donata were recovered from their squalor and the predations of the Ursus Dynasty by the Ghosts of Retribution, whose Chapter Master had received a vision of the two lost Belisarians.
Once recovered the twins were taken to the Tombstone where they were tutored by Astartes, Governor Kerius Dermont, and Adepta Sororitas from the Order of Bloody Tears (led by Palatine Serpentina).
In 359.M41 following the Coup against Larion Ursus, Gration was installed as Lord Governor of the Sector, succeeding the deposed Larion Ursus and reinstalling the Belisarian Dynasty as the rulers of the Sector.
As he matured into a true leader Gration became noted as an exceptionally handsome young man, with a natural charisma and very well-spoken thanks to his years of tutelage. Considering both this and the vast power & wealth at his fingertips, Gration is the dream husband for almost every unmarried noblewoman in the Segmentum.
