  • Tithe: [Nix] Currently in rebellion as part of the Styrian Triarchy against the Imperium. Several centuries of tithe and interest are owed to the Administratum. Petitions by the Administratum to the Sector Governor of Deus to re-establish control over the planet to enable tithe extraction have gone unanswered.
  • Population: Unknown. Regular influx of pilgrims inflates the native population. Recovered census from M39 show a population of 1 billion.
  • Government: Priesthood of Bahal’din’Murr. Direct Rule by the current High Priestess Audra Ines.
  • Description: As the cradle of faith and birthplace of Bahal’din’Murr the planet is a favoured destination by pilgrims. It also hosts the primary academies of the priesthood drawing in the best and the brightest the Triarchy has to offer.  All incoming and outbound traffic to the planet must pass through one of its moons which have grown into a sizable trade port to handle the volume of traffic. There have been several instances over the century where a ship was destroyed by the in-system fleet when it for whatever reason attempted to land directly on the planet. Warp routes to the system are known to be hazardous though this has not discouraged the volume of believers wishing to undergo the pilgrimage to it. There are many myths and legends which explain why the warp route is so dangerous but the one officially endorsed by the priesthood is that when their God walked the mortal realm she was constantly tempted by daemons and when she refused their offers, the creatures cursed her home world.
  • Technology: [VIII - Other: Styrian] It is not known exactly what level of technology the Styrian Triarchy utilises, but it appears to be roughly similar to Imperial technology.
  • Military: The Verdo Strazar and Meja Strazar maintain a sizable garrison in addition to the local militia and fanatical pilgrims that can be goaded to fight in times of need. It is said the priesthood has placed countless enchantments all over the system to render it unassailable.
  • Strategic importance: [Nix] One of the three most important planets in the Styrian Triarchy. It will be defended to the last. Due to its importance in addition to the network of communication stations that connect it with the wider Triarchy a station was specially made and modified to quickly send messages to Styri

  • Loyalty: [Styrian Triarchy][Bahal’din’Murr] Though a majority of its population are fervent believers of Bahal’din’Murr, there is a sizable minority who share the discontent of the priesthood with the Assembly regarding its decision to concentrate on finishing off the imperial remnants and the xo’nad over converting the autonomous regions.
